17th C NEVERS FAIENCE APOTHICARY POT
17th C Nevers faience apothicary pot inscribed THERIACA (latin for snake). Twisted handles, one truncated, symbolising snakes. Theriaca was a miraculous elixir supposed to heal all illness and to recover youth. It contained 70 ingredients. Pot in perfect condition
18th C GLASS COOLER
18th C individual cooler with ochre floral decoration on white background. The notch in the brim supports the stem of the glass. No damage, no repairs, just a little wear to the glaze shows that it was used frequently.
